A new bathroom design can take you to another dimension. It’s everybody’s paradise, their home inside their home, which is normally why people take their sweet time in the restroom. The problem with people relaxing in the restroom and indulging in all the accessories imaginable is there usually someone else waiting outside the facilities and needs to use it. Adding a second bathroom seems like a long, arduous job but there are ways around that to make it inexpensive and quick.

Save Money:

Take the time out to plan your bathroom design. If something goes wrong, you do not want to start the whole thing over again. The most cost-effective place for your second bathroom to be is as close to your first restroom as possible. This will help you save money on the pipe work.

Shower, bathtub, or toilet:

Depending on your situation and needs, you could just add a toilet, or a bathtub, or a shower stall separately. However if you add a full service bathroom, it will increase the value of your home if you are an owner of course.

Pipes:

Set up your bathroom design by constructing your piping situation. If you do add your second lavatory next to your first, you will be able to connect the pipes together, which would save yourself a lot of money and you won’t have to tear down any walls. First thing you must do is turn off your water.

Water:

Once the water is off you can start connecting the pipes together. You’re going to need to connect several different size lengths of pipes to connect both bathrooms. In order to make sure those pipes are strong and stick together you’re going to need caulk them. By caulking around all your pipe connections you’ll greatly reduce any water leaks. Now you can start adding the toilet, the sink, and the shower head. Of course you can get expensive with this step but a regular toilet and a stainless steel sink should do the trick if your not high-maintenance.

Mold:

There is one thing you can’t avoid when it comes to your bathroom, you must clean it. There is no way around that. A good way to keep on top of the mold and the germs is having an exhaust fan in your bathroom. Exhaust fans can pull up the condensation and steam to help limit those germy friends we love to avoid.

Bathroom Vanities:

The rest is up to you to roam free and explore all your dreams. Add your tiles that you want, any shelves. Now is the time to dream big thanks to your new bathroom design.
