Relocation in Indiana
Why call an Indiana resident a Hoosier? Why move
to Indiana? There are a million reasons for both. Indiana is the perfect example
of Midwestern life with rows of corn as far as the eye can see, dairy cattle
dotting the landscape and the friendliest folks you'll ever want to meet.
But don't write off Indiana as just some bumpkin
paradise. Indiana is home to three of the nation's most respected universities:
Notre Dame in South Bend, Purdue in West Lafayette and the University of Indiana
at Bloomington. The state's signature event is the Indianapolis 500 auto race,
which has been roaring for 83 years. The Indy 500 draws an average crowd of
over 400,000 racing fans, making it the largest single-day sporting event
in the world.
